Trent Ivey attends Spring Thaw 100 at Bulls Gap
With Mother Nature shortening the XR Super Series-sanctioned Spring Thaw 100 to a single day, Trent Ivey made the haul to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for Saturday's $100,000-to-win show.
In a strong 60-car field, Trent qualified 18th-quickest before moving forward two positions in his heat to finish one spot short of an A-Main transfer. With one more shot to make the main event, Ivey battled with the leaders but fell short of making the show with a fifth-place finish.
