October 30, 2021 - Motor issue ends WSTC weekend at Charlotte
1On Friday, Trent Ivey invaded the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) to pilot the Gary Shurling and Randall Brewster-owned No. G4 Late Model for the Drydene World Short Track Championship. After coming in third in his heat race, the crew discovered terminal engines woes that sidelined him for the remainder of the weekend.

October 23, 2021 - Trent Ivey wins Trick or Treat 40 at Modoc Raceway
1Saturday night found Trent Ivey in action at Modoc Raceway (Modoc, S.C.) returning behind the wheel of his Barfield’s Timber No. 88 Late Model for the Trick or Treat 40. With his 16.524 second lap in time trials placing him on the pole for the feature, Ivey outran Anthony Sanders in the 40-lapper to capture his first win of the season and $7,500 prize. He took the checkers ahead of Sanders, Dennis Franklin, Thomas Robinson, and Bryson Harper.

October 16, 2021 - Seventh-place finish at Friendship Motor Speedway
1Trent Ivey invaded Friendship Motor Speedway (Elkin, N.C.) on Friday afternoon to return to the driver’s seat of his Ivey Construction No. 88 Late Model for the two-day North Carolina State Championship. With a fourth-place finish in his heat race pinning him 15th on the starting grid for the Saturday’s $10,500-to-win A-Main, Ivey advanced forward eight spots in the 50-lapper to place seventh. October 2, 2021 - Top-10 finish with World of Outlaws at Cherokee Speedway
1On Friday afternoon, Trent Ivey visited Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) to pull double duty in the Super and Crate Late Model ranks for the Mike Duvall Memorial V8 Nationals. Drawing 29 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Ivey secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. Holding his spot for all 50 laps, Trent recorded a sixth-place finish.

In the Crate Late Model ranks, Trent’s fifth fastest qualifying effort on Friday secured his spot into the A-Main on Saturday. With $3,000 on the line, Ivey was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 25.

September 25, 2021 - Ivey scores third-place finish at Fayetteville

September 14, 2021 - Runner-up finish in Shrine Race at Laurens County
1Tuesday saw Trent Ivey make a mid-week trip to Laurens County Speedway (Laurens, S.C.) for the 40th annual Shrine Race. With 18 Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series entries on hand, Ivey’s third fastest qualifying effort positioned him on the second row for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Clawing forward one spot in the 40-lap affair, Trent notched a runner-up finish, which came behind race-long pacesetter Zack Mitchell. Michael Brown, Payton Freeman, and Adam Yarbrough rounded out the Top-5.

September 5, 2021 - Trent Ivey notches Top-5 finish with World of Outlaws
1Defending his home turf against the stars of the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, Trent Ivey made the short trip to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Thursday afternoon for the rescheduled Rock Gault Memorial. Drawing 33 cars, Trent clocked in fifth fastest in his group before placing second in his heat race. With the redraw placing him sixth on the starting grid for the $40,000-to-win main event, Ivey improved two spots in the talent-laden field to register an impressive fourth-place finish. 1The following night at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) for Charlie Mize Memorial, Ivey’s sixth-place finish in his heat race pinned him 17th on the starting grid for the main event. With $10,000 on the line, Trent passed five cars in the 40-lapper to finish 12th.

Back in action at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Sunday afternoon for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series-sanctioned Hall of Fame 50, Trent ran a steady pace throughout the 40-lap feature to cross the line in sixth.

August 21, 2021 - Ivey cuts down right-rear tire while leading at Harris Speedway

August 13, 2021 - Early exit in Gaston County Shrine Race at Gastonia
1Friday night found Trent Ivey in action at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, N.C.) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series-sanctioned Gaston County Shrine Race. Drawing 25 cars, Ivey recorded the 10th fastest time overall, which pinned him on the fifth row for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Running into trouble early, Trent was an early retiree from the 40-lapper on the third circuit.

July 24, 2021 - Ivey competes in Street Stock at Cherokee
1On Friday afternoon Trent Ivey visited Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) to pilot the Highway 29 Grill No. 18 Street Stock. With a third-place finish in his heat race on Friday securing his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday, Trent was involved in a multi-car tangle on the opening three-wide start that ended his night immediately.

July 18, 2021 - Carolina Sizzler brings Ivey to Charlotte

June 12, 2021 - Trent Ivey attends double Dreams at Eldora Speedway
1On Wednesday afternoon, Trent Ivey made the trek to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) to kick off four nights of racing with the 27th annual Dirt Late Model Dream. With the 74-car field split into two separate groups for a pair of preliminary features, Trent posted an eighth-place finish in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. 1With preliminary results on Wednesday setting the grid for heat races on Thursday evening, Ivey slipped back to a 13th-place finish, giving him one last shot at the $127,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream with a B-Main appearance. Slated to start near the tail, Trent was a scratch to save equipment for the remainder of the weekend.

For another round of preliminary features on Friday afternoon, Trent recorded a ninth-place finish in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main. Needing to place fourth or better to make the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Ivey fell short with a ninth-place finish.

Starting in 11th in his heat race on Saturday afternoon, Ivey came in ninth, leaving him with one final chance into the $126,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream. Sending the Top 3 into the finale via his B-Main, Trent logged a 10th-place outing.

May 30, 2021 - Top-5 finish in Mike Butler Memorial at Cherokee

December 12, 2020 - Early exit in DIRTcar feature at Lavonia
