May 14, 2022 - Ivey records Top-10 finish in Colossal 100 finale at Charlotte

In a stout field of 47 cars for the four-day event, Trent was granted a provisional into the opening night feature after missing a transfer spot in his heat and B-Main. Starting in 23rd, Ivey was an early retiree from the 30-lapper.

For another $25,000-to-win A-Main on Thursday evening, Ivey’s sixth-place finish in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better to make the show, Trent logged a fifth-place outing.

After losing Friday night’s event to Mother Nature, Trent secured his spot into Saturday’s $50,000-to-win Colossal 100 finale with a second-place finish in his heat race. Losing one spot in the 50-lap affair, Ivey posted a ninth-place finish.

March 26, 2022 - Seventh-place finish with World of Outlaws at Gaffney
1Making the short trip to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.), Trent Ivey returned to action on Friday evening to compete in a doubleheader weekend with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series. Drawing 40 cars for the event co-sanctioned with the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series, Trent followed up the third-fastest time in his group with a third-place finish in his heat. After topping the 40-car field in time trials on Saturday, Ivey tagged the wall in his heat race on the opening lap, bringing a disappointing end to his weekend.

March 6, 2022 - Top-10 finish in March Madness at Cherokee Speedway
1Trent Ivey made the short trip to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Sunday afternoon to kick off his 2022 season with the Southern All Star Series. With 23 Late Models entered for the 23rd annual March Madness, Ivey timed in fifth-fastest in his group before placing fourth in his heat race. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 14th, Trent advanced forward seven spots in the 50-lap affair to register a seventh-place finish.

October 30, 2021 - Motor issue ends WSTC weekend at Charlotte
1On Friday, Trent Ivey invaded the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) to pilot the Gary Shurling and Randall Brewster-owned No. G4 Late Model for the Drydene World Short Track Championship. After coming in third in his heat race, the crew discovered terminal engines woes that sidelined him for the remainder of the weekend.

October 23, 2021 - Trent Ivey wins Trick or Treat 40 at Modoc Raceway
1Saturday night found Trent Ivey in action at Modoc Raceway (Modoc, S.C.) returning behind the wheel of his Barfield’s Timber No. 88 Late Model for the Trick or Treat 40. With his 16.524 second lap in time trials placing him on the pole for the feature, Ivey outran Anthony Sanders in the 40-lapper to capture his first win of the season and $7,500 prize. He took the checkers ahead of Sanders, Dennis Franklin, Thomas Robinson, and Bryson Harper.

October 16, 2021 - Seventh-place finish at Friendship Motor Speedway

October 2, 2021 - Top-10 finish with World of Outlaws at Cherokee Speedway
1On Friday afternoon, Trent Ivey visited Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) to pull double duty in the Super and Crate Late Model ranks for the Mike Duvall Memorial V8 Nationals. Drawing 29 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Ivey secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat. Holding his spot for all 50 laps, Trent recorded a sixth-place finish.

In the Crate Late Model ranks, Trent’s fifth fastest qualifying effort on Friday secured his spot into the A-Main on Saturday. With $3,000 on the line, Ivey was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 25.
