Ivey breaks while running fifth at Cherokee

Drawing a stout field of 50 Ultimate Street Stock Challenge entries for the fourth annual event, Ivey laid down the third-fastest time in his group before picking up a heat race victory.

With a sixth-place finish in the Dash on Saturday placing him on the third row for the $7,500-to-win A-Main, Trent suffered a broken coil whiling running in fifth that ended his night immediately.
