In a stout field of 47 cars for the four-day event, Trent was granted a provisional into the opening night feature after missing a transfer spot in his heat and B-Main. Starting in 23rd, Ivey was an early retiree from the 30-lapper.
For another $25,000-to-win A-Main on Thursday evening, Ivey’s sixth-place finish in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better to make the show, Trent logged a fifth-place outing.
After losing Friday night’s event to Mother Nature, Trent secured his spot into Saturday’s $50,000-to-win Colossal 100 finale with a second-place finish in his heat race. Losing one spot in the 50-lap affair, Ivey posted a ninth-place finish.
