Runner-up finish in Shrine Race at Laurens County

Tuesday saw Trent Ivey make a mid-week trip to Laurens County Speedway (Laurens, S.C.) for the 40th annual Shrine Race. With 18 Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series entries on hand, Ivey’s third fastest qualifying effort positioned him on the second row for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Clawing forward one spot in the 40-lap affair, Trent notched a runner-up finish, which came behind race-long pacesetter Zack Mitchell. Michael Brown, Payton Freeman, and Adam Yarbrough rounded out the Top-5.
