Ivey cuts down right-rear tire while leading at Harris Speedway

Trent Ivey was one of 23 Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series entries on hand at Harris Speedway (Rutherfordton, N.C.) on Saturday night for the Clyde Dedmon Memorial. After topping the charts in time trials, Ivey shot out to a comfortable lead in the feature when lapped-car cut down his right-rear tire on the final circuit, dropping him to 12th when the checkered flag flew.
