Top-5 finish in Mike Butler Memorial at Cherokee

Trent Ivey competed in his lone event of the Memorial Day weekend on Sunday afternoon at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the Ultimate Southeast Series-sanctioned Mike Butler Memorial. With $7,500 on the line in the 50-lap feature, Ivey notched a fifth-place finish, following Brandon Overton, Brent Dixon, Derrick Ramey, and Ross Bailes across the line.
