Top-5 finish with Carolina Clash at Friendship Motor Speedway

Saturday night found Trent Ivey in action at Friendship Motor Speedway (Elkin, N.C.) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned program. In a field of 28 cars, Trent laid down the third fastest lap overall in time trials, which positioned him third on the starting grid for the main event. With $4,000 on the line, Ivey faded one spot in the 40-lap affair to place fourth, following Daulton Wilson, Jeff Smith, and Ross Bailes to the checkers with Matthew Nance coming in fifth.
