Top-10 finish with World of Outlaws at Gaffney

Friday night found Trent Ivey in action at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the Mike Duvall Memorial. Drawing 39 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Trent followed up the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group with a second place finish in his heat behind Ross Bailes. Receiving the eighth-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main via the redraw, Ivey faded two spots in the 50-lap affair to register a 10th place finish. (Blake Harris photo | H3 Photography)
