Ivey Attends Grassy Smith Memorial at Cherokee Speedway

On Friday night Trent Ivey was one of 37 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the 22nd annual Grassy Smith Memorial. Transferring the Top 4 out of the heats and into the A-Main, Ivey logged a sixth place finish, sending him into the B-Main. Needing a third place finish or better to make the $12,000-to-win main event, Trent came one spot shy with a fourth place outing.
