Ivey Attends Ginger Owens March Madness at Gaffney

On Saturday evening Trent Ivey visited Modoc Raceway (Modoc, South Carolina) powering his Palmetto Pole & Piling No. 88 Late Model for the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series finale. In a field of 25 cars, Ivey edged his way into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with a 7th place finish in his heat. Rolling off 20th, Trent was one of ten cars that failed to finish the 40-lapper. The following night at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned Ginger Owen March Madness, Trent locked his spot into the main event with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Casey Roberts. With $12,000 on the line in the feature, Ivey got spun around on the opening lap that brought an early end to his night.
