October 24, 2020 - Podium finish in Buck Simmons Memorial at Lavonia
1On Friday afternoon Trent Ivey traveled to Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series-sanctioned Buck Simmons Memorial. In a field of 23 cars, Ivey secured his spot into the $6,000-to-win A-Main with the fourth fastest lap in his time trial group. Marching forward four spots in the 40-lap affair, Trent scored a third place finish behind Brandon Overton and Brent Dixon with Brett Hamm and Cla Knight rounding out the Top-5. 1The following night at Laurens County Speedway (Laurens, S.C.) for the Ultimate Southeast Series-sanctioned Ronnie Brookshire Memorial, Trent came in fourth fastest in his group, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $4,014 on the line, Ivey was an early retiree from the 40-lapper on lap 22.

October 17, 2020 - Top-10 finish with World of Outlaws at Gaffney
1Making the trek to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Friday night, Trent Ivey was one of 63 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand for the 40th annual General Tire Dirt Track World Championship. Taking the Top 3 from heat races, Ivey came two spots short with a fifth place outing, transferring him into the B-Main on Saturday.

Sending the Top 2 into the $100,000-to-win Dirt Track World Championship, Trent faded back to a fourth place outing. Slated to start the Jim Dunn Memorial non-qualifiers feature in 14th for a shot at a $3,000 payday, Ivey elected to scratch from the 25-lap consolation event.

October 2, 2020 - Top-10 finish with World of Outlaws at Gaffney
1Friday night found Trent Ivey in action at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the Mike Duvall Memorial. Drawing 39 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Trent followed up the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group with a second place finish in his heat behind Ross Bailes. Receiving the eighth-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main via the redraw, Ivey faded two spots in the 50-lap affair to register a 10th place finish. (Blake Harris photo | H3 Photography)
