On Saturday afternoon Trent Ivey followed the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series to Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) for the third stop of the six-race tour. After failing to complete a lap in his heat race, Ivey was an early retiree from the 40-lap feature on the fourth lap.

Behind the wheel of his Ivey Construction No. 88 Late Model, Trent Ivey visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series-sanctioned Grinch 40. Drawing 22 cars for the second round of the six-race miniseries, Trent recorded a fifth place finish in his heat race, which positioned him 13th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main.
