 Trent Ivey invaded Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Georgia) on Friday night kicking off the Labor Day tripleheader with the Ultimate Southeast Series. Drawing 16 cars for the Buck Simmons Memorial, Ivey recorded the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group which positioned him seventh on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Passing four cars in the 41-lap affair, Trent reeled in a 3rd place finish behind Zack Mitchell and Ross Bailes with Kenny Collins and John Henderson rounding out the Top-5.
The following night at Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, South Carolina), Trent locked his spot into the $4,000-to-win A-Main with the sixth fastest lap in his time trial group. He was an early retiree from the 40-lap feature just after one circuit.
 Wrapping up the weekend on Sunday, Ivey stopped at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned Hall of Fame Race. After coming in ninth fastest in qualifying, Ivey pulled off early from the feature with 35 laps remaining.
