Making his Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) debut, Trent Ivey made the trek on Thursday competing in a stout field of 92 Super Late Models for the 25th Dirt Late Model Dream. Falling back to a 9th place finish in his heat race, Ivey transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night preliminary feature. Sending the Top 2 into the show, Trent fell short with an 8th place outing.
Returning on Saturday for another round of preliminary features, Trent grabbed the 5th and final transfer spot in his heat which positioned him 20th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $10,000 on the line, Ivey dropped four spots in the 25-lap affair to place 24th. (Zachary Yost Photography)
For the final night of the 25th annual Dirt Late Model Dream on Saturday, Trent cut a tire in his heat while battling for a transfer spot into the $125,000-to-win finale that brought an early end to his weekend.
